Welcome to October! It will be a great month, and we’ve got so many great books coming out.
In this post, we highlight all of the new books coming out by the most popular authors on Book Notification.
The month gets off to a great start with a new novel by the legendary Danielle Steele. “Triangle” is out October 1st.
And if you are a fan of supernatural horror, Kelley Armstrong has a new standalone out on the 1st, titled “I’ll Be Waiting”.
Or if you’re a fan of thrillers that will hook you from the get-go and have you reading all day long, then the wonderful Freida McFadden has you covered with “The Boyfriend”, out on the 1st.
If you’re in the mood for a Christmas-themed book, Susan Mallery has you covered with a beautiful story titled “One Big Happy Family”.
R.W Green writes the next entry in the Agatha Raisin mystery series, titled “Killing Time”.
October 15th will see the latest book in the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt come out. A great series, “The More the Terrier” is the 30th book and is great for fans of mysteries who also love dogs.
And the latest instalment of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series gets its North American release on the 15th and is already receiving rave reviews. Written by Alexander McCall Smith, it’s titled “The Great Hippopotamus Hotel”.
Ian Rankin also has a new entry in the Rebus series out on the 15th, titled “Midnight and Blue”.
It’s going to be a busy day for readers as The Bosch Universe gets a new entry. “The Waiting” is the latest Michael Connelly release, billed as a Ballard and Bosch novel.
October 22nd likely won’t be the biggest day for new releases – because everyone knows they can’t compete with Jack Reacher. The latest entry by Lee Child and Andrew Child, titled “In Too Deep”, is out then. Reacher wakes up alone, handcuffed to a makeshift bed, with no idea of how he got there. I’m sure that isn’t going to go well for the people who handcuffed him.
Inspector Gamache fans will be excited as October 29th sees the latest book by Louise Penny, “The Grey Wolf”.
It’s also great to see the author of “The Girl on the Train”, Paula Hawkins, with a new release. “The Blue Hour” is her first book in a few years and is out on the 29th
