June is always an interesting month for new book releases.
It’s the month when Summer begins, so we see quite a few beach reads hitting the bestseller lists. The sort of books that are going to sit prominently on bookstore shelves, just waiting for someone to pick it up on the way to the beach.
There’s a lot more than just beach reads of course. It’s been awhile, but Ben Coes is back with the latest entry in the Dewey Andreas series. I know a lot of people are very excited about that.
Exciting news for fans of Clare Mackintosh who starts a new series this month. The Butler is the first book in that series and don’t worry – it’s a thriller!
Exciting news as we have the first Strata Wars novel by Brandon Sanderson. “Songs of the Dead” releases June 16th, 2026.
My personal pick of the month is “Keep Them Close” by David Ellis. If you’ve ever read “Look Closer” by David, then you’ll know why this is the one I am most looking forward to.
If you haven’t and you’re a thriller fan? Please do. It’s one of those books that the more people read it, the more buzz it gets. It was a 10/10 for me.
