Popular Book Releases: July 2024

Welcome to a look at new books coming out in July 2024 from some of the most popular authors on Book Notification.

This list is based on how many Book Notification users follow these authors.

The month gets off to a great start with a new Catherine Coulter novel. It’s her 27th FBI thriller series, and Agents Savich and Sherlock are back in “Flashpoint”.

On July 1st, Steven Konkoly starts a new series. The author of the Ryan Decker series begins his Garrett Mann series with “A Clean Kill”.

Stephen Leather writes books in various series, but his Dan “Spider” Shepherd series is without a doubt the best one, and the 21st novel in that excellent series is out on July 18th. MI5 Analyst David White, a changed man after his daughters were killed in the Hamas massacre, is out for vengeance. And only Spider is the man who can stop him.

He’s most well known for his DCI Logan series, but JD Kirk also has another excellent series in the Robert Hoon series. The 5th novel in that comes out on July 4th. And thankfully, the great Angus King has also been providing narration for the audiobooks for this series.

For cozy mystery fans, Vicki Delany releases the fifth novel in the Tea by the Sea Mysteries. Coming out on July 23rd, 2024, it’s “Trouble Is Brewing”.

Gabriel Allon is back! The 24th novel, “A Death in Cornwall”, by Daniel Silva, releases July 9th.

James Patterson and Mike Lupica team up for the next Jane Smith Thriller. “Hard to Kill” releases on July 29th.

“What Have You Done”, the latest standalone thriller by Shari Lapena, is out this month—July 18th in the UK, and July 30th in North America.

The Riley Thorn series by Lucy Score will see its 4th entry. “The Body in the Backyard” is the book’s title in this romantic comedy series.

A new Wilbur Smith novel. Written by Tom Harper, “Warrior King” is out July 9th, part of the Courtney series.

Robert Bryndza has the fifth entry in his Kate Marshall series out on July 11th, “The Lost Victim”.

“Sanctuary” is out on July 30th, to end the month. This is the first book in the Roman’s Chronicles series by Ilona Andrews, a novella featuring Roman, everyone’s favourite Volhv wizard.
