Welcome to February, and a big congratulations to all 40+ authors who are making their debuts this month.
It’s a significant achievement to write and publish a new book, and we’re very excited to celebrate and share this by promoting some of these new authors’ great new books.
We have such a great mix this month, from horror to romantasy to comedy. We’ve got standalone novels and the beginnings of new series: from completely new authors to authors who have only written novellas previously.
Let’s have a look at some of them:
Love and Other Brain Experiments by Hannah Brohm
Neuroscientist Frances heads to a huge New York conference for a career-saving chance, only to find her successful ex running the show and her annoyingly hot rival Lewis right in her way.

The Darkness Greeted Her by Christina Ferko
This atmospheric sapphic horror novel is billed as Yellowjackets meets Smile.
Penny heads to a therapy camp deep in the Appalachian woods, hoping for a fresh start, but strange signs from her dead father keep showing up, and a “Shadow Man” starts creeping closer.
When girls begin to vanish and turn up dead, Penny and the others must stick together and face their worst fears before the monster picks them off one by one.

The Second World by Jake Korell
This one is recommended for fans of Kurt Vonnegut and Andy Weir.

How to Get Away with Murder by Rebecca Philipson
A Scotland Yard detective fresh off a breakdown is pulled back in when a teen is murdered, and the only real clue is a viral self-help book called How To Get Away With Murder.
