The Soviet Union launched Sputnik on October 4th, 1957. The spacecraft was named after the Russian word for “fellow traveler,” and its launch is considered the beginning of the space age. It’s hard to imagine where the world or the world of books would be without this event that kicked it all off. Today, the authors listed below launch their projects with these new books.
“Before Highland Sunset” is the first book in the Special Ops Scots Series by USA Today bestselling author Kait Nolan.
The book sees a man and woman who had a night together years ago when he didn’t know she was her best friend’s little sister. They never saw each other again. Three years later, they find themselves in the same small town and when things go bad for her, she turns to him for help. Now, he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her.
The Quest Academy Series by Brian J. Nordon continues with “Saviors”. The LitRPG progression fantasy series follows Salvatore Argento as he learns to become a Hero in a world full of demons.
“Ruthless Monsters” is the next book in the Game of Psychos Series by Mia Hartson. The series follows a fierce, sarcastic heroine and her lethal fated mates. The series is intended for readers 18 years and older.
The multi-author Twisted Bard Series continues with “Dreamers Often Lie” by Shane K. Morton. The book is a contemporary Gay retelling of the classic “Romeo & Juliet” with Tybalt and Mercutio as the leads.

Personal Tags: You can now tag any book you wish with your own tag that is only visible to you, such as if you wanted to tag that you own a book, or that you listened to it. You can see all of your tags in the "My Tags" section under "My Library".
