On October 3rd, 1955, the Guinness Book of Records debuted so here are a few book-related records. The Longest Title of a Book record is held by N. Srinivasan whose title consisted of 27,978 characters, the Oldest Author (male) record belongs to Jim Downing who published at the age of 102 years and 176 days, and William Shakespeare is the Most Filmed Author with over 1100 writing credits on film and television products. Speaking of records, all of the authors below are entering the history record with the release of their new books today.
“The Cursed Beauty” by Valia Lind is a Sleeping Beauty retelling in the Skazka Fairy Tales Series. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone novel.
Princess Alyona is cursed to fall into an eternal slumber when she turns nineteen unless she gets a kiss from a prince. Jon Athan is releasing a high-tension horror home invasion novel, “Are Your Parents Home?” today. The story follows an eighteen-year-old that is left in charge of her siblings at her family’s lake house when a stranger knocks at the door. The book contains graphic content.
The Magic in Minos Falls Series by Bea Gallo continues with “The Minotaur Who Got Away”. The second chance, small-town monster romance can be read as a standalone.
Fans of Scottish historical romance novels will enjoy “The Secretive Governess”, the third book in the False Rumors Series by Laura A. Barnes.
