New Book Releases Today: August 30th, 2024

August 30th means it’s almost the end of the month, but there is no end to the steady stream of good books being released. There are quite a few authors releasing books today, from standalone novels to continuations of long-running series. Check them out below.

“Gambit’s Property” is the first book in the Shiver of Chaos Series by E.M. Shue. Six years ago Franclynn saw her family’s death and has hid from the men who did so ever since. Now, they have found her and want her dead. To save her, her adoptive mother goes to the Shiver of Chaos MC for help. The club will keep the young college student safe, but she comes from a different world. However, that won’t stop her from catching the attention of the club’s president, Gambit.

Grace Greene is releasing a standalone novel titled “A Heart Beyond”. The story follows Leigh Ann who lost everything when her father was charged with financial crime. She wasn’t involved in it, but her role in the company made her a target and she went into hiding. Her cousins offered her a new start in Richmond, Virginia. Now, after losing her cousin, Leigh is alone until a cat enters her life. With her routine disrupted, Leigh is forced back into public life.

The San Diego Paranormal Police Department Series by John P. Logsdon and Jenn Mitchell begins with “Halfcocked”. Jin Kannon is a seasoned assassin in search of a new life and takes on a new role as police chief. It won’t be easy as he has to give up his djinn magic, memories, and skills while also learning people skills. Making matters worse, he finds the place has gone to hell on his first day on the job.

“Stalk the Sky” is the second book in the War of the Alliance Series by Tara Grayce. The next entry in the humorous steampunk fantasy series follows half-elf Fieran Laesornysh and a motley crew as they try to protect the naval base of Dar Goranth.
