We are now into September, known as one of the best months for new books. To start the month off on a high note, we have lots of great new books releasing this week.
The most notable book coming out this week is “Safe Enough”. Written by Lee Child, it is a short story collection featuring 20 stories – and none involving Reacher! This is a project that Lee really enjoyed, stating that stepping outside of the Reacher universe was a “real delight” and that he found it “liberating”.
“Safe Enough” releases on Tuesday.
Exciting news for fans of the “Mitch Rapp” series as Don Bentley has taken over the series and is releasing his first novel featuring Rapp. This one takes place in April 2011, prior to the death of Osama Bin Laden, and chronologically would take place following Pursuit of Honor it appears. It is titled “Capture or Kill”.
“Death at the Sign of the Rook”, the sixth novel in the Jackson Brodie series by Kate Atkinson, gets its North American release this week. It’s already a big hit in the UK and was an instant Sunday Times #1 Bestseller.
Rachel Kushner releases “Creation Lake” on September 3rd. This standalone novel, which is on many “Most Anticipated Books of 2024” lists and was longlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize, is about a female secret agent sent to France to do dirty work.
Sunday Times bestselling author M.J. Arlidge and Steph Broadribb release a new book this week together. It’s called “The Reunion” and is perfect for people who like horror and mystery.

Personal Tags: You can now tag any book you wish with your own tag that is only visible to you, such as if you wanted to tag that you own a book, or that you listened to it. You can see all of your tags in the "My Tags" section under "My Library".
