New Book Releases: February 10th to February 16th, 2025

We have over 350 new books releasing for the second week in February, which promises to be great.

We’re going to have to alter that graphic above to start displaying more books because it’s becoming more difficult each week to narrow that list down to just 5!

Let’s give it our best shot, shall we?

First up, we have to mention Nemesis. This is the tenth full length-novel in the excellent Orphan X series by Gregg Hurwitz and releases on Tuesday.

In the latest explosive instalment, Evan Smoak finds himself in a deadly conflict with his closest friend, Tommy Stojack—a master gunsmith who’s crossed one of Evan’s unbreakable rules.

Great news for fans of Elly Griffiths, as she starts a new series on Thursday. It’s the Ali Dawson Mystery series, and the first book is called The Frozen People. Note that Thursday is the UK release date. The US date is currently in July.

Cold cases are easier to crack when you can travel back in time—unless you get stuck there. When Ali Dawson’s cold case team investigates an 1850 murder tied to a sinister group called The Collectors, she finds herself trapped in the Victorian era. With her son wrongfully arrested and time running out, Ali must uncover the link between past and present murders before history repeats itself.

Helen Harper starts a new series on Tuesday. The Cat Lady Chronicles begins with Waifs and Strays, and this should be a fun series in the urban fantasy crime genre.

Kit McCafferty’s quiet, cat-filled life in the magical city of Coldstream takes a wild turn when a teenage werewolf shows up at her door, pulling her into a web of shapeshifter politics and magical crimes. But Kit isn’t just a harmless cat lady—she’s got secrets of her own, and anyone underestimating her is in for a surprise.

And we’ve got another new series starting, and this one is an Amazon Editors’ Pick for Best Romance! First-Time Caller is the first book in B.K. Borison‘s new Heartstrings series.

When jaded radio host Aiden Valentine’s love hotline goes viral thanks to a young caller seeking romance advice for her mom, Lucie Stone suddenly finds her love life—or lack thereof—under the city’s spotlight.
