New Book Releases: December 22nd to December 28th, 2025

I mean, I know this is about books. But I can’t stop thinking about what the metric is surrounding movies considered holiday films ? Is The Nightmare Before Christmas a Christmas movie? Is Love, Actually ? For all intents and purposes, the Ryan Reynolds-led Just Friends could be considered a Christmas flick. I have a friend making a case that Home Alone is about forgetful parents before it’s considered a holiday feel-good. And of course, the classic – Die Hard . Save for my husband, most people I know agree that it just isn’t Christmas until Hans Gruber falls from the tower. Lol

You know what? Forget the debate. Let’s just pick up a book.
