It’s the first full week of August, and we hope you’ve had a great start to the month.
If it’s not been that great a start, don’t worry—we have hundreds of books coming out this week, so you can pick one of these, and we’re sure it will turn the month around!
The great Brad Thor is releasing the 23rd novel in his excellent Scot Harvath spy thriller series. One of the best series out there, “Shadow of Doubt”, is out on Tuesday.
The team of Jonathan Kellerman and Jesse Kellerman release the latest novel in the Clay Edison series this week, titled “The Lost Coast”. Stephen King correctly describes the father-son duo as a team that writes “brilliant, page-turning fiction”.
The latest Meg Langslow Mystery by Donna Andrews is released on August 6th. One of the best cozy mystery series out there, be sure to check out “Between a Flock and a Hard Place”.
For historical fiction fans, be sure to check out “The Rose Arbor” by Rhys Bowen. It’s a standalone novel taking place in World War II, and it’s the current #1 new release on Amazon in the Historical World War II Fiction section.
And a new YA mystery by Maureen Johnson is out on Tuesday. “Death at Morning House” is a standalone with an absolutely fantastic cover!

Private Notes: If you wish to make any private notes related to the book, you can do so within this section. These are not listed anywhere on the site.
Public Rating: In this section you can rate the book out of 10. This rating will affect the overall rating of the book which is displayed on the site.
Public Reviews: Loved the book and want to write about it? You can write up a review which will show up at the bottom of the authors page. We love reading reviews and they help other readers, so reviews are much appreciated! No spoilers in the reviews though please.
Genre Tags: If you have read a book, we would appreciate you tagging what genres the book is in. It will help our book recommendation system.
Personal Tags: You can now tag any book you wish with your own tag that is only visible to you, such as if you wanted to tag that you own a book, or that you listened to it. You can see all of your tags in the "My Tags" section under "My Library".
