New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kasey Michaels, real name Kathryn A. Seidick, passed away on Tuesday from a battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.
Seidick began her writing journey at a young age, crafting stories and exploring her creativity. In 1983, she published her first historical romance novel, titled The Tenacious Miss Tamerlane, under her pen name Kasey Michaels. This marked the beginning of a prolific career that would see her become a well-known and respected figure in the romance genre.
Throughout her career, Kathryn has written an impressive number of novels spanning various subgenres of romance fiction, including historical romance, contemporary romance, and romantic suspense. Her works often feature strong, independent heroines and charismatic heroes who navigate challenges and conflicts on their way to finding love and happiness.
