It’s warming up outside, and the adaptations are staying hot. June is a big month for book to movie/TV adaptations, including works by big name authors. Harlan Coben sees another work adapted at Netflix, Anne Rice’s world of vampires returns, Sherryl Woods’ Sweet Magnolias continues, and a whole lot more.
Two of this month’s biggest releases come in the form of television. Cape Fear is the latest adaptation of John D. MacDonald’s work, and it looks like another winner in the hands of Apple TV. While Prime Video continues their work to corner the market on YA romance adaptations with Carley Fortune’s Every Year After. We won’t be surprised if those are two of the more talked about shows this month.
Let’s take a look at the Book to Movie/TV Adaptations for June 2026.
