Big news for fans of Brandon Sanderson, as the author is about to see the first adaptation of his novels.
Apple TV+, who are well known for their adaptations of books, have handed the screen rights to his Cosmere Universe.
The current plan is to launch a movie franchise based on Mistborn, and a TV series for The Stormlight Archive.
Even better, Brandon Sanderson is expected to be deeply involved in the creation of both adaptations. After years of cautious optimism around adaptations, this level of creative involvement will be a welcome sign for readers.
