The nominees are out for 2025 Edgar Awards, which are one of the most prestigious awards in the literary field.
The Mystery Writers of America have announced the 2025 Edgar Awards for the categories of Best Mystery Novel, Best First Novel, Best Paperback Original, Best Fact Crime, Best Critical/Biographical, Best Short Story, Best Juvenile, Best Young Adult, Best Young Adult, the Mary Higgins Clark Award, the Lilian Jackson Braun Memorial Award, and the Sue Grafton Memorial Award, as well as the Grand Masters and the Raven Award.

In addition to these, the 2025 Raven Award went to Face in a Book Bookstore & Gifts, Peter Wolverton of St. Martin’s Publishing Group got the Ellery Queen Award, and Laura Lippman and John Sandford were named Grand Masters.
