You can now generate an ‘Author Progress Card’ for any author whose books you have marked read.
Author Progress Cards let you turn your Book Notification reading history into a shareable image for social media.
The author progress cards are highly customizable. Here are two author progress cards, using the exact same data but customized differently:

With Author Progress Cards, you can:
- Show or hide selected series
- Display checkboxes
- Choose from different styles of checkmarks
- Choose whether unreleased books appear on the card
- Show a progress bar and overall stats
- Show the month and year the card was generated
- Show series progress
- Enable a 100% completion badge if you’ve read every book
And so much more. We have a variety of backgrounds to choose from, you can change checkmark and checkbox colours, add an overlay, change the font face and size, and change how many columns are displayed.
Note: This is based on your Book Notification data. You need to mark the books read on the author’s page for the data to show up here:

Generate your own Author Progress Card
Go to any author whose books you have marked read on Book Notification, such as Freida McFadden.
Click the ‘Print / Download’ button:

Select “Generate Author Progress Card (Beta)”.

You will now be presented with a screen like this on desktop:

On mobile, you will see the customization option and can click the “Preview” link at any time to see what your current author progress card looks like.
As you change options, such as hiding a series, removing checkboxes, or choosing a different background, the author progress card will update in real time.
If an author’s bibliography is too big to fit on one image, multiple images will be generated.
When you are finished customizing your author progress card, click “Generate & Download Image(s)” which is below the card preview:

This will download your author progress card to your computer or phone, and you can then share it on social media.
