Hello, everyone, and welcome to another week of book picks.
It’s been a busy month, but we’re coming to the end now and should be able to relax and get some reading done. I selected a new book for the I Care About Books podcast, and it was honestly just a blind pick for me. I’d heard some good things about Charlotte McConaghy‘s latest book, which made me aware of her, but I didn’t want to pick that book because it had already appeared on so many other book clubs. Instead, I went with Once There Were Wolves. It’s about reintroducing grey wolves into the Scottish Highlands, and that was enough intrigue for me. I’m looking forward to reading it and then talking about it next month on the show.
This is the last newsletter of the year, so I wanted to thank everyone for checking it out each week. It’s been a lot of fun, and I look forward to recommending more books next year. I hope we’ve helped you discover something new you’ve loved. That’s really what this is all about. If not, we’ll try again next week.
That’s all I have for this week. Let’s get to the picks.
