I Care About Books Episode 5: Slaughterhouse-Five

On the fifth episode of Book Notifications official I Care About Books podcast, Care is joined by the Book Notification Founder Graeme, and the Book Notification Entertainment Editor Vince, to discuss Slaughterhouse-Five, which was written by Kurt Vonnegut and published in 1969.

It was the 6th full-length novel that Kurt would pen.

Slaughterhouse-Five was the official pick of Vince, and the primary reason he picked it was when he took over the management of “lists” content on Book Notification.

This content involves adding “list” data to authors and books. Slaughterhouse-Five was repeated again and again, on lists such as the Modern Library 100 Best Novels of the 20th Century, Esquire’s 80 Books Every Man Should Read, and Amazon US’s 100 Books To Read In A Lifetime.

A book he always wanted to read, seeing it so many times he made it the pick for our book club.

Check out our discussion on the video below and you can also see or listen to it on Spotify.
