Tom Alex is a pen name of a married couple that write and publish together.

Thomas has worked for a number of years as a researcher and professor of AI at a London university before devoting himself to writing and translating novels. Alex has worked in the media and book industry for many years, translating, writing, and editing.

They are fascinated by suspense, crime, fantasy, and mystery with strong human characters. Their novel heroes investigate in the London underground, the alleys of Rome, the streets of Berlin, along with in secret labs and conspiratorial centers of power on both sides of the world. They go on research trips to gather new insights and capture them on camera whenever they can.

Under the name Tom Alex, they publish young adult books and all age novels.

Nephilim Hunter: Deadly Dreams is set at a centuries old boarding school. There’s a boy with a dark secret, and a reality outside of our time.

David (age 14) is the result of a genetic experiment. His gift for exploring other people’s lives through portraits is worth its weight in gold to his creators. Right after his best friend’s death, he’s freed finally from the labs and gets hidden away in this London boarding school.

However mysterious things have been happening there as well. One student dies there under odd circumstances, David’s girlfriend, who is believed to be dead, shows up again, and his roommate is plagued by ominous dreams.

David wants to get to the bottom of this. A picture of the boy that died in the accident leads him down this trail which could not be any more dangerous, as he’s faced with his genetic heritage.

Ikaron: The Possessed features a vision that is not one. Two dreamers that no longer dream. Three worlds that could not be more different.

Aaren, David, and Simon have saved Hartington from ruin, however David’s barely settled in at the boarding school when he’s drawn into this new adventure. His spirit is catapulted into the body of this mercilessly hunted angel, into this totally alien world. David captures the last moment of the vision in a painting. To everybody’s surprise, it portrays Nathaniel, who is Simon’s imaginary friend.

At the same exact time, this horrifying phenomenon’s spreading across London and the whole rest of the world. People are changing, losing their minds, getting violent, and attacking their loved ones. This is one of little Finn’s aunts, whose personality is getting replaced by something evil. And there is no cure in sight.

David’s gift for diving into the past through images has been faced with some new challenges. And Simon has to reveal more about him and his dream world, as Aaren works diligently to fulfill her role as David’s protector.
