Simone Biles is one of the great gymnasts with multiple Olympic medals and over 30 World Championship medals. She is among the most awarded gymnasts in history. She has won a record-high nine U.S. National all-around championships. Simone became the first oldest lady gymnast to get the title after her win in 2024. She also won champion on vault, floor exercise, and balance beam seven times.

Simone is also the first American female gymnast and the tenth female gymnast to be awarded a World Medal in each event. Since 1988, she is the first female gymnast to get a medal in each event at the World Championships and Olympics after Daniela Silivas. Simone has been a champion twice on uneven bars, and in both 2018 and 2024, she won all five gold medals in each championship. She is also the sixth lady to hold an individual all-around title at both the World Championship and Olympics and the first since 1996 to hold the two titles at the same time.

President Joe Biden awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022. She also won her eighth U.S. gymnast title, breaking a 90-year-old record. Simone was awarded Comeback of the Year in 2024 and the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year in 2017, 2019, and 2020.

Simone is the first to attempt the most challenging skill on women’s vault, floor exercise, and balance beam, and she is also the only gymnast to try each skill up to date.
