Zero Days, although an entertaining novel is a step away from Ruth Ware’s previous who-dun-its. Gone is the circle of suspects that continuously shrinks as they are knocked off. I prefer the old formula.

Although it was vastly different from her usual, I really liked that one. I was really impressed with her knowledge on that subject.

I bought a couple of Ruth Ware books for my mom since she loves to read mysteries. She loved them and has bought the rest, so I am reading them after her. I wasn’t that impressed with Woman in Cabin 10, which was the first I read, because I felt like there were problems with the book. I then read the Lying Game and liked it even less. In a Dark, Dark Wood was better. Since my mom gives them to me after she has read them, I will continue to read the books, but they are not the first thing I grab.
