Robert G. Torricelli
Robert G. Torricelli (Robert Guy Torricelli) was born on August 27th, 1951 and is currently 73 years old. Robert G. Torricelli was born in Paterson, NJ, USA. U.S. Senate, and also an attorney. During his time in politics, he held several important roles and even chaired the
Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
He is also the founder of
Woodrose Properties and
Rosemont Associates, with the latter being an international consulting firm.
Woodrose is in the real estate industry, managing and developing multiple family and commercial properties in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
The son of lawyer Salvatore Torricelli and school librarian Betty, Robert was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1978. He then worked for Brendan Byrne the New Jersey governor and was an associate counsel to Mondale the Vice President in 1978.
In 1982, Robert Torricelli defeated Harold Hollenbeck, the Republican incumbent, and joined the
US House of Representatives. In 1996, he was elected to the
Senate after defeating Dick Zimmer, the Republican Congressman.
Following his time in the
Senate, he got a job with the
U.S. Federal District Court and oversaw the cleanup of the
Honeywell Corporation’s Mutual Chemical site in Jersey City. It was also at this time that he got into entrepreneurship and founded
Rosemont and
Woodrose.
