He is a ten-time finalist and current winner of the Hugo Award for Best Editor (Short Form), a three-time Chesley Award recipient for Best Art Director, and the 2019 winner of the Kate Wilhelm Solstice Award from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) for his significant impact on the field.
