Mike graduated in 1983 from the University of Florida with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
He worked in Saudi Arabia, Florida, and Massachusetts as an international tax specialist for Price Waterhouse Coopers before he co-founded TUT Enterprises, Inc. in 1989 with Andy (his brother) and his mom.
TUT sold its own line of T-shirts and gifts from this small chain of stores and through this distributor in Japan. In 1999, the company wound down its retail and wholesale operations and Mike became sole shareholder, transforming the business into the TUT of today, TUT’s Adventurer’s Club, a philosophical club for comprehending and living the adventure of life.
By 2021, there were a million members, all of whom get his daily emails, known as Notes from the Universe, which have spun off into calendars, books, world tours, and greeting cards. His work’s been published in 27 languages.
