Margot Bennett’s book The Widow of Bath was turned into a six-episode television series of the same name in 1959 by the BBC. Gerard Glaister directed the series, and Bennett herself wrote the screenplay. John Justin played Hugh Everton, and Barbara Murray played Lucy. Unfortunately, all episodes were lost. Margot’s second book The Man Who Didn't Fly was adapted into a TV episode by Kraft Theatre in 1958.
