L. Brent Bozell
L. Brent Bozell (Leo Brent Bozell III) was born on July 14th, 1955 and is currently 69 years old. L. Brent Bozell was born in Washington, D.C., USA. Bozell attended the University of Dallas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in history.
L. Brent Bozell III is a writer and conservative activist. He is the founder of the Media Research Center, this organization whose stated purpose is to identify liberal media bias.
He joined National Conservative Political Action Committee, a now disbanded organization, where he worked for Terry Dolan (the group’s founder) in order to help get conservative politicians elected.
Brent also ran the National Conservative Foundation project at the Conservative Political Action Conference, where he moderated debates between Robert Novak and Sam Donaldson over media bias.
Then in 1998, he founded Conservative Communications Center, and the MRC also established CNSNews, which is the site of the Conservative News Service, later on it was known as Cybercast News Service, with several additional Media Research Center affiliated websites. It publishes Bozell’s syndicated columns, the CyberAlert daily newsletter that documents perceived media bias, and research reports on the news media.
He is also the founder of the Culture and Media Institute, which is an MRC branch whose mission is to reduce what he claims to be this negative liberal influence on American culture, morality, and religious liberty.
Stops Along the Way: A Catholic Soul, A Conservative heart, an Irish Temper, and A Love of Life is a book unlike any other ever written by a leader of the conservative movement, since the tales being told are unlike anything ever experienced by any other public figure on the American scene today.
It tells the story of 10 red-headed Catholic kids being raised on a farm during the 60s, only 70 miles from the nation’s capital but so rural that they could be welcomed by both the KKK as well as a diminutive black man that’d become part of the family. They would attend high school during the 70s in another country on some other continent completely alone with 2 brothers, free to explore mysterious castles and watch some compelling bullfights as they were enrolled in this school built during the Middle Ages.
Then work during the 80s in the most successful political enterprise of its day, but forgotten only a generation later, shooting commercials in war zones as they were accused of starting a war, and have you ever wondered what it’d be like to take off on an airplane inside a cornfield, or look out of the window of another and see a rocket ship go flying by?
This book tells all of these stories and so much more. Timeless tales which are the perfect antidote for today’s poisonous headlines.
