Kevin Parham (Kevin J. Parham) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Parham attended Salem State College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Kevin Parham is a professional musician and author. He spent much of his childhood in Massachusetts where he went to high school and college to graduate with a Business Administration Bachelor of Science degree.

Despite his qualifications, much of Parham’s adult life has been spent pursuing a music career. Over the years, he would make some headway in the music industry as he traveled extensively with a range of professional vocalists, musical groups, and professional musicians.

As a recording artist, Kevin played for Thythm - the R&B group - as a bassist which was signed to Polydor Records and also released another album with RCA Records. Parham also worked with several other recording projects as he released music on both Critique Records and Sussex Records.

Later on in life, Kevin Parham developed literary aspirations as he needed to tell of his many life experiences. He has said that he always feels a unique satisfaction from artistic expression in music and literature.

In 2018, Kevin Parham published his first book, Keeper of the East Bluff Light. It tells the story of a man named Sam Biggs who is disabled at work leaving him so desperate and unemployed that he is forced to become a lightkeeper at the East Bluff Lighthouse. When there is a shipwreck, the lighthouse is upgraded from oil to electric light and this somehow results in an unexplained violent crime wave.

Westville is a novel that Kevin Parham published in 2018 that tells the story of an aspiring musician named Jimmy James who lives in Boston during the 1960s. All he wants is to become a player of the electric bass guitar but he soon comes to the realization that making it in the entertainment industry is fraught with disillusionment and disappointment.
