Jordan had been a cinephile ever since he was a young kid, deciding at the age of 12 that he wanted to become a film director, citing movies like

His filmmaking influences include: John Carpenter, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick, and M. Night Shyamalan.

Jordan began his career in sketch comedy before he transitioned into writing and directing psychological horror with some comedic elements.
His breakout role came in 2003, when he became a cast member on
Mad TV, where he spent 5 seasons, leaving in 2008.
He and Keegan-Michael Key (a
Mad TV cast member and collaborator of Jordan’s) created and starred in
Key & Peele together for 3 years, from 2012 to 2015. It was critically acclaimed, winning a Peabody Award and 2 Primetime Emmys. They wrote, produced, and starred in Keanu, a comedy film.

It’s a master class in horror, and like Jordan’s spine chilling films, its tales prey on the things we think we know about our world, and redefine what it truly means to be afraid.
