Arlo Finch in the Valley of Fire, the first book in his fantasy adventure series, *Arlo Finch*. The story begins with Arlo witnessing a mysterious vision: his room fades, revealing a moonlit forest, and through his window, he sees a girl standing in a world of glass, gold, and silver, resembling a palace. When she warns him, “If I can see you, they can see you,” Arlo realizes his journey into the unknown has only begun.
Initially, Arlo thinks learning wilderness skills like knot-tying and camping will be all he needs to become a Ranger. But upon arriving in Colorado, he discovers that there’s far more to learn. His new friends, Wu and Indra, help him understand how to trap wild magic seeping from the mysterious Long Woods. As Arlo begins identifying supernatural creatures, he faces ancient, dark forces that cross into the real world, testing his dedication to the Ranger’s vow.
The second book,
Arlo Finch in the Lake of the Moon, continues the series. Arlo and his friends, Wu and Indra, find themselves searching for ancient forest spirits and uncovering mysterious messages on tree bark. When they stumble upon clues tied to the lost Yellow Patrol, Arlo learns secrets connected to his own family history. This sequel is packed with even more adventure, time travel, and further character development.
