Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner (Jeremy Lee Renner) was born on January 7th, 1971 and is currently 55 years old. Jeremy Renner was born in Modesto, California, USA. Renner attended Modesto Junior College.

Jeremy Renner is an actor. He has been nominated for two Oscars. One for Best Supporting Actor in The Town and for Best Actor in The Hurt Locker.

Jeremy went to Modesto Junior College, where he studied computer science and criminology, before he took this drama class as an elective and decided he’d pursue acting.

He made his film debut as an underachieving student in National Lampoon’s Senior Trip. The film was critically panned, but he still appeared on two TV shows, and had a minor role in a TV film called A Friend’s Betrayal.

In 2002, he starred as Jeffery Dahmer in Dahmer. He found this non-fiction role tough to cope with after he’d completed the film, knowing that Dahmer killed 17 victims. His performance was well received, and he gained a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead.

My Next Breath is the inspiring and gripping tale of one acclaimed actor’s near fatal accident, and what he learned about endurance, inner strength, and hope while overcoming insurmountable odds to recover a breath at a time.

Jeremy was the most googled person in all of 2023, and not for an impressive filmography. He was a crooked Camden Mayor in American Hustle before becoming heir to the Jason Bourne franchise in The Bourne Legacy. He was an Iraq based army bomb tech in The Hurt Locker and a hotheaded Boston bank robber in The Town. Among other iconic roles, he captured hearts as Hawkeye, the fan favorite comic book marksman in 7 Marvel films.

But his otherworldly success on screen faded to the periphery once a 14,000 pound snowplow crushed him New Year’s Day of 2023. Somehow he was able to continue breathing for over half an hour, he was rushed to the ICU, after which he’d face numerous surgeries and months on end of painful rehab.

He writes here about his accident and the aftermath in blistering detail. This retelling isn’t just a gruesome account of what happened to him; instead it’s a call to action and a forged companionship between the reader and author as he recounts his journey to recover and reflects on the impact of his suffering.

Ultimately this memoir is a testament to the human spirit and its capacity to evolve, endure, and find a purpose in the face of unimaginable transformation, exploring the delicate interplay between hope and despair, strength and vulnerability, renewal and redemption.
