Jennette McCurdy is an American singer, actress, filmmaker, and writer best known for her role in the Nickelodeon sitcom
iCarly. The dynamic and spunky actress started acting when she was just eight years old. It wasn't long before she landed numerous roles in films and TV before getting her big break on
iCarly in 2007, where she portrayed Sam Puckett for five years.
Jennette McCurdy has also starred in
Between, a Netflix series, and for a while, she tried her hand at making country music under the Nashville-based Capitol Records. Her appeal across different fronts made it seem as if she was an upcoming talent with unlimited potential.
