Helena Hunting is my favorite romance author and i love how she weaves intense and emotional love stories. She knows how to begin a book while grabbing the reader’s attention with her addictive writing style. I can’t really get enough of Helena’s books as they leave me craving more. The Pucked series was so hilarious and humorous, and I think that was why I felt engaged to the last book. Clipped Wings is among the intense and heart-wrenching stories I have read in my life. Despite the story being emotional, there were numerous funny and steamy parts. When Sparks Fly novel had good chemistry with some steamy scenes that added flesh to the story
Helena Hunting reminds me of my mom’s favorite authors from the 80s. I can’t remember any of their names. Me and my sisters would tease her for reading what we dismissed as trashy fiction.
Two decades later, here I am, defending my love for Helena against friends and family that keep calling her books trash. But I don’t hold their opinions against them. They read so-called serious literature. They don’t any better. I bet Helena sells more books each month than all of their favorite ‘serious’ authors combined.
I don’t know if that is true. It sounds true. Helena’s novels are so much fun. I know I’m not the only one who reads her stories.
