Gregg Jarrett
Gregg Jarrett (Gregory Walter Jarrett) was born on April 7th, 1955 and is currently 70 years old. Gregg Jarrett was born in Los Angeles, California, USA. Jarrett attended Claremont McKenna College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and University of California, Hastings College of the Law where he received a Juris Doctor degree.
Gregg Jarrett is a conservative American news commentator and former trial attorney turned author. While he is all those things, he is best known for his pro-Trump commentary, especially his criticism of the investigation into the alleged Russian interference in the U.S. elections in 2016.
As a trial lawyer, he practiced for several years in San Francisco. He has also been a lecturer at various law schools across the United States and worked as a New York Law School adjunct professor.
Earlier on Jarrett was employed at
TruTV (formerly
Court TV), where he was very popular as the anchor of the program
Prime Time Justice. During that time, he also hosted
Inside America’s Courts the nationally syndicated magazine show on the network.
While working on
Court TV he covered many major trials including the murder trials of the likes of Marv Albert, O.J. Simpson, Rodney King, the Menendez brothers, Jeffrey Dahmer, and William Kennedy Smith.
Jarrett has also been a reporter on various stories, such as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the deadly EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, Superstorm Sandy, Pope Francis's inauguration, and, earlier, Pope Benedict XVI's resignation.
In 2019, Jarrett published
The Russia Hoax, which is a work in which he asserts that there was no evidence that Trump or his campaign team worked with Russia to interfere with the 2016 election. From his research, he asserts that laws were ignored or perverted and facts were exaggerated or invented by the media and the Democrats.
In
Witch Hunt, Gregg shines a light on the malicious politicization and bureaucratic malfeasance of the justice system in the United States. Jarrett claims that the law and the media were weaponized in the 2016 election to spin a claim that Trump was working with Russians.
Next, Jarrett published
The Trial of the Century. This is the story of Clarence Darrow, the famous liberal attorney who worked for John Scopes the schoolteacher in a legal case that had the entire country transfixed. It is a work that calls upon Americans to unite in the defense of the free exchange of ideas.
