Always look forward to buying Fern Michaels’ books as quickly as they come out, particularly the ones from her Sisterhood series and Men of the Sisterhood series.
Love these characters a ton and enjoy picturing what each of these characters look like. Enjoy going back to read them again and again.
Fern’s stories grab you and immerse you into it. Once I start one of hers, I have a hard time stopping, usually staying up way too late flipping the pages, to see what happens next in the novel. Only stop when silly things like going to work or household chores get in the way of reading.
Where has Fern Michaels been all my life? Seriously, how have I not heard of this woman? I knew she was something special when I discovered the Sisterhood series. But then I dug into her life and learned that she had written a whopping 150 books.
If that wasn’t enough, she had sold nearly 200 million copies of her books. With numbers like that, I would expect to see her face on the covers of magazines and newspapers alongside the likes of J.K. Rowling and James Patterson.
But for some reason, I’d never heard of her before I discovered the first Sisterhood novel in my local library. It’s shocking. And the books are really good. Fern needs a bigger spotlight.
My wife has become interested in the Sisterhood series. Don’t know if I will read any of them.
I am one of those Fern Michaels readers that can go either way. Either I love the book or I find it dumb. But you never know until you get into it so here goes – Rock Bottom -here I come!!
