Diane Hatz was born on October 11th, 1961 and is currently 64 years old. Diane Hatz was born in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. Hatz attended the University of Delaware where she received a BS in business administration and marketing and Antioch University where she received a MA in creative writing.

Diane Hatz is best known as an author, activist, and organizer. She published Rock Gods & Messy Monsters, her debut novel in 2008. Sixteen years following her debut work, she published her second novel, Fallen Spirits, in 2024.

Hatz has developed a reputation for writing works on themes of finding oneself, materialism, spirituality, and corporate greed tinged with social commentary and humorous satire. For the most part, her work is based on her spiritual path, observations, and experiences.

Outside of her writing, she worked freelance as a music publicist and was the manager of a band since she worked at indie and major record companies. She is also known as the founder of the fanzine The Relay, which is one of the most popular in Rock and Roll.

Diane Hatz founded Change Food, the non-profit in addition to organizing and speaking at TED events. She has also been an executive producer of a Webby Award-winning movie, The Meatrix, and agitated to shut down factory farms. She has also been a student of the Dalai Lama among many other spiritual teachers.

In 2020, after more than three decades of living in the East Village and downtown Manhattan, Diane moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. When she is not writing her novels, she can often be found going on road trips, hiking, and stargazing.

It is the story of a woman named Alex who works for one of the major recording companies. She gets into all manner of complications trying to navigate the fast life of a record executive including dealing with Langley her boss, the dictatorial president of the company, a rock star, and a race of aliens interested in the music business.

In 2024, Diane Hatz published her second novel, Fallen Spirits.

Yet again, this is the story of Alex a woman whose life goes haywire before it intersects with that of Crystal an endangered and lost woman dealing with metaphysical challenges. Alex goes on a quest to find answers on a cross-country journey hoping to find something that will get her out of the wreck that is her life.
