The mystery of the new Thor remains unsolved even by the end of the volume, but there are clues that suggest she’s from Earth.

Punk’s comic also addresses the criticisms of a female Thor directly, especially during an encounter with Crusher Creel, who’s ever complaining about superheroes becoming “less manly” due to feminism.
