Azi Ahmed was born in Manchester, England. Ahmed attended The University of the Arts London where she received a Master's degree in Media Technology.

Azi Ahmed has lived in the Hammersmith area and is the all-time bestselling author of the book: A Muslim Girl with the SAS. Besides writing, she is a presenter and public speaker who covers various subjects, including the future shape of National Security, the British Army, and Britain’s next generation.

After leaving the army, Azi continued her military work for the Ministry of Defence on campaigns for troops during the Afghanistan war. She later stood as a parliamentary candidate and shared her business experiences as a Management Consultant. Since Azi’s debut book release, her speaking engagements have expanded significantly, reaching many events at Corporate Receptions, Literary Festivals, and Nonprofit Organizations. When not writing, you’ll find Azi volunteering for charity for homeless people and serving as a school governor for children with special needs.
