Their favorite part of being a writer is addressing the question of what it is that makes us human. Thinking aloud using the voices of their fictional characters and heading out on adventures with them.

They feel that writer’s block happens when they aren’t listening to their characters enough. They’ve found it useful to stick with their main characters and asking each one of them what they want, what they need to do next. By being more stubborn than their characters is probably the short answer.

To get inspired to write, they watch a lot on TV. The stories will differ in their protagonists. Thinking and discussing what they’ve watched characters develop, and they want to tell them their stories. So giving them names and answer questions like what do they want? What’s their driving force? And what’s their living situation? all gives you a starting point. In the end, they will just explore their little universe.
